Church Ministries
Music Ministry
At Grace Baptist, our Music Ministry is a vibrant tapestry woven by volunteers who bring their musical talents as singers or instrumentalists. They grace our Sunday Worship services, either as part of the choir, brass and woodwind orchestra, or as solo performers. This ministry is a testament to the wonderful gift of music by our Creator and by the volunteer’s dedication to practicing and expressing worship through music. Contact our Pastor or any Deacon to express a desire to become involved in our music ministry.
Cleaning Ministry
The Cleaning Ministry plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and clean environment for worship and church activities. Comprised of dedicated families, this ministry handles the regular and thorough cleaning of our church facilities. Their hard work ensures that our space is not only presentable for services and special events but also embodies the respect and care we hold for our place of worship.
Nursery Ministry
The Nursery Ministry at Grace Baptist ensures that our youngest members are lovingly cared for in a safe and nurturing environment while their parents engage in worship and church activities. Our volunteers, including parents and seasoned caregivers, provide a peaceful space where infants and toddlers can learn about God’s love through songs, stories, and play. This ministry is more than childcare; it's the first step in a lifelong journey of faith, providing peace of mind to parents and a healthy, welcoming setting for our children. Grace Baptist Church takes measures to ensure that all nursery staff are trained and meet high standards that parents expect and trust for their childcare.
Building and Grounds Ministry
Our Building and Grounds Ministry includes a team of skilled volunteers from various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and gardening. They are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing our church’s physical facilities. From routine upkeep to significant projects like renovations or landscaping, their efforts ensure that our church’s infrastructure is both safe and aesthetically pleasing, supporting our activities effectively.
Crisis Ministry
The Crisis Ministry is dedicated to providing support and resources to congregation members and their families during times of personal crisis. This includes visitations, providing meals, and arranging transportation. It is a ministry of compassion and care, aiming to support and uplift one another during challenging times.
In each of these ministries, the involvement of church members is essential not only for maintaining operations but also for fostering a sense of common purpose. Active participation helps cultivate a supportive and engaged community that effectively meets both the spiritual and practical needs of our church family.
