April 6, 2002 - Raising the new steeple at Grace Baptist Church

On Satruday, April 6, members and friends of Grace Baptist Church gathered to raise a new steeple on the church building. The original steeple had been removed in 2001 due to severely rotted framework that could not be repaired in place. A new steeple was ordered and delivered several months ago, and today was raised. It was a beautiful day, and we hope you enjoy these pictures of Christians working to God's glory!

Gotta get the pieces up first - Hey, isn't there supposed to be a square thingy under this pointy thingy? Looks like I can identify Jeff Jackson, Nate Backus and Jeff Brugge. I don't see Venable up there - wonder where he's at?	Let the raising commence! Looks like I can identify Pastor and Jeff Wagner. Is that Jim behind the Pastor?
